I think the first one about being raised in a single parent home is interesting. I think another interesting thing would be to ask kids what THEY think are the roles of parents. Well not that exactly, but I think we as kids have a particular view and understanding of our parents and the parents might not be like that at all. My son, who is 24, has a view of me who is not me at all. How does that happen? Sorry to have gone off on a tangent, but it is related somewhat to your topic.
